STAR Kids is a one-week exploratory program introducing musical theatre to children aged 4 through 8. Our S.T.A.R. Kids performances are approximately 30 minutes long and take place on the evening of the last day of the workshop.
STAR Jr. is a three week, full-day workshop for ages 8 through 14. During this program, participants rehearse a one-hour-long Broadway Jr. production, culminating in three performances. Many elements of theatre tech are introduced during this program through hands-on learning, including set building, prop creation, costuming, and backstage etiquette.
STAR YA is a summer Musical Theatre workshop for Young Adults, ages 14 through 19. During this program, participants will rehearse a full-scale production, culminating in four performances. Rehearsals are weekday evenings starting in June. Actors from our workshops have gone on to work in the theatre world professionally in many capacities!
