Our 2nd annual production of A Christmas Carol was a huge success! With your support, we were able to donate $2662 to Santa Claus Anonymous. Thanks to Starbucks for the refreshments, Mike Juba for directing and to all who helped for this worthy cause!

Our community values the Arts. Many of our neighbors are accomplished in the visual and performing Arts. Our children are exposed to the Arts at an early age and many are developing their own gifts in school programs. There is no better place to showcase their emerging talents than the Historic Relay Town Hall. In September 2005 S.T.A.R. incorporated as a non-profit Arts organization. Our status as a 501(c) (3) corporation allows us to accept tax deductible donations. We involve more families in our productions as the demand for community theatre grows. In 2006, we expanded our programs to involve adults and younger children. Now, as we approach our 10th year, we continue to expand our summer and year long programs. Keep an eye out for our 10 year anniversary celebration in Fall 2010! Our programs are growing and we continue to develop new programs to serve our growing community. We draw participants from Relay, Arbutus, Catonsville, Lansdowne and nearby areas. All of these programs require a lot of volunteers. We hope you will join our S.T.A.R. family this year. There are many ways you can become involved. We always need help on productions. Working with costumes, props, and set construction are ways to use your creative energy. For those who are more business minded, we can use you in ticket sales and publicity. We can use your help with printed programs and t-shirts. Providing support for our casts with snacks and refreshments and a cast party after the show is a great way for parents to participate. Let us know what you want to do and we'll find a way to include you in the fun! . |
